Kite

This was my favorite project. I told my teacher I wanted to do something outside, so we could enjoy the warm weather. She came up with this. We made kites! We had to follow instructions, making a kite out of paper, and then draw a picture on our kite. I choose to draw an evil octopus. After we drew the picture, we had to get dowels and set tape the on to the back to make our kite more kite-like. Then we had to attach tails. After we finished making our kites, we took them outside to see if they could fly! Mine did!

Brochures

This project was a lot of fun. We had to choose an event and a product and make a brochure about them. We also had to make a portfolio brochure. We were allowed to fold them anyway we wanted, so it was excited trying to think of new creative ways to fold the brochures. I made the brochures in Indesign and most of the pictures in Photoshop. The biggest challenge of this project was printing them. We had to set up the printers so that they would print properly on both sides without having one side backwards. It was a great project.

Magazine Layout

For this project, I had to choose a magazine article and then design the layout for it. I made it in Indesign.

Magazine Ads

For this project, we had to make 3 magazine ads. We were given 2 objects, and were allowed to choose whatever we wanted for the third one. I was given Discount Store, Magazine, and I chose eggs for my third one. Here is one of them. (I don't know why it is coming out blue, it's supposed to be brown.)
